– Building GPU-assisted large scale biologically-modeled neuron networks in CUDA/C++.– Constructing an interface between in vitro neurons and simulated neurons to develop a hybrid neural network.

– Built tools in bash to help automate the installation of different JBoss server environments for both development and production.– Helped upgrade old production Java code that does identity management for UNC affiliates. Wrote the interface to a cache store to cache internal department numbers from an external data source.

– Developed MATLAB tools for quantitatively analyzing microscopy data. The tools processed cell imagesto extract and count fibrous elements resulting from drug injections to determine drug effectiveness.

Analyzed the union-find data structure to develop a more simplified model of the upper bound on union find operations.

Designed and developed a switch-accessible tower defense game in Unity3D.Gained experience in user interface design for disabled individuals.
