While working on a team of 10 students, we maintained a website and multiple social media platforms. Prior to South by Southwest (SXSW), we would connect with speakers and interview them about their upcoming event. During SXSW, we would cover has many events has we could. Aside from interviewing and writing stories, I also ran the group's Snapchat during the event.

The position entailed marketing and promoting the Parents' Association at multiple events across campus. I would also contact parents regarding and problems, as well as, contacting potential businesses for partnerships. I would also assist with the planning and coordination of Bearkat Family Weekend. Aside from these responsibilities, I was also expected to produce a monthly newsletter that was sent to all of the parents of the association.

I was in charge of producing multimedia stories that would then be uploaded to our YouTube channel. I covered a wide range of topics. Some of those topics included Greek Life, breaking news, special events and weekly updates from the newsroom.
