Operating as a strategic partner that focuses on solving business problems through creative solutions. A large part of my work involves instilling a test and learn mentality across both my clients, their teams and the broader product organisation (where possible and relevant). For me it’s important to lead those I work with towards a shared vision; often this means aligning them on how one can use data to prioritise and measure the impact of creative outputs. Highlights of my consulting include:• Completely redesigned the brand feel, copy and website experience of an NGO; resulting in the foundation having to now turn people and organisations away due to increased interest in working with them.• Rebuilt a Shopify store from the ground up for a 7 figure e-commerce store. Including new copy, photography, and UX, leading to a 3x increase in average time spent on site whilst doubling conversion rates all the way through the conversion funnel.• Designed an e-commerce store for the owner of a global branding agency who wanted to sell his fine art. Producing copy, photography and UX whilst overcoming the challenge of also sourcing a fine art production company to enable over 4000 hand finished artwork variants to be ordered and delivered without client intervention.• Rebranded a legacy private equity firm (owners of Happy Socks), re-platformed and redesigned their website from the ground up, and produced all new photography and graphics, resulting in a modern look while respecting their heritage.• Collaborated with Georgia Tech and the Bhalma Lab to create a certifiable low-cost hearing aid for developing countries (sub $1 production cost is the goal), tested to match the audio quality of a $4000 hearing aid.

Initially brought in as a consultant designer and strategist to help Boston based audio startup Kyunas legitimise their brand and direction as they geared up for pre-seed investment. Shortly after the initial project I was invited to join as a Founder to play a crucial role in the growth of the business.• Helped secure entry into the MassChallenge startup accelerator in the USA and produced pitch decks for further investment whilst being investor facing with the existing VCs.• Worked with founder to develop business case and product market fit strategies.• Designed a novel method for navigating software without screens or voice commands under research into what technology comes after smart phones. Working demo of navigating and using Spotify with only audio feedback.• Led and motivated a team of engineers across two timezones (whilst being in a third), enhancing collaboration and project efficiency.

A multi year project to realise a vision that materials design consultant Chris Lefteri had for a consumer product since writing his first book on materials in 2001. The project became a multi year project that brought me on initially as a freelance and then later as Co-Founder and COO.• Launched FixIts on Kickstarter in 2018, selling over £40k of product to nearly 3000 customers across 30 countries in 30 days.• Managed FixIts’ growth of B2C sales to over 70 countries and B2B retail stores across the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia.• Oversaw all aspects of the business, including marketing, PR, supply chains, sales, logistics, packaging, strategy, e-commerce operations and more.• Secured investment on Dragon’s Den and transitioned to a sleeping partnership role in 2022.

In early 2016 I began working with Chris Lefteri on what would later be launched as FixIts. Beyond the work that helped to lay the foundations of this brand, I was a regular member of the studio and its team. Over the 6+ years I was working from within the studio, where there was constant exposure to its work and process, I was (from time to time) involved in discords or producing isolated deliverables on projects that the studio was working on outside of my focus on FixIts.

• Helped win multiple hackathons, leading to seed investment for EAVE.• Led the product strategy and direction, contributing to the development of specialised hearing protection products and over £4m in institutional investment into EAVE.• Worked with hardware, software, marketing, sales, and executive teams to ensure cohesive product development.• Built brand website, marketing materials, sales decks, and more.• Worked with software team to developed a custom digital web app platform for compliance officers to monitor noise environments recorded from products.

• Refreshed the visual identity for the structures team, modernising pitch materials and graphic layouts of case studies.• Set up a photo studio to produce professional headshots and went on site visits to take project photography of completed and in progress work.• Utilised 3D CAD skills to create visual representations of complex engineering techniques in order to inform and educate paying clients.

• Worked on diverse live projects for global clients, gaining advanced skills in branding, packaging design, and storytelling.• Identified personal strengths and weaknesses, significantly improving design capabilities.• Emphasised the relationship between branding and commerce, applying these insights to future projects.

• Contributed to live projects for household name brands, going from ideation to CAD models and renders.• Developed a refined approach to planning and presenting projects, influenced by mentorship from senior designers.
