I've taken on a new challenge within the company as an Engineering Manager.I've still got a strong interest and passion in software development, but it's no longer part of my day-to-day work.My responsibilities now lie with the individuals that work at the department.Supporting them, helping them grow, coaching and mentoring them. It's important to me that everyone feels like they belong and that we build trust and transparency within the company.Another aspect to the role is to make sure our agile teams can work independantly and that cooperation across team boundaries is strong. Culture, processes and transparancy is key elements to succeed in this regard.The company is growing steadily. We're in the middle of an agile transformation and demands on the organization has never been higher. I'm happy to be a part of it all, which would likely not have been the case if it wern't for the will and determination of my fellow colleagues. We're really doing this together.

At Autocom I've worked with several projects and technologies in a few different roles.I've been working on projects both alone, and in larger teams.There's been times where I've designed services and databases, I still do and find it rewarding. Now and then I introduce new colleagues to our team, and all the services we are responsible for.When it comes to technology it's been a lot of web and C# .Net. Lately it's been a focus on .NetCore, docker containers and microservices on AWS. I've found that jumping between old and newer technologies in different projects grants experience in and of itself.I began as a somewhat experienced developer, and has continued my path to take on more senior roles. Today I have a role as a team lead, and am responsible for the development of several projects and the everyday planning and support of my fellow colleagues. The new responsibilities take some time from the programming part of my job but I'm still writing code, and I'm still loving it!I thoroughly enjoy seeing people and business evolve. Therefore I strive to be a driving force in the path forward. My experience and opinions are valued, and I do my best to stay ahead in todays rush of technologies.

Backend/Frontend development for a client requiring a community oriented web solution for stock trading.

Front/Mid-end developer.Initially I administred servers, set up databases, developed the back and frontend applications for the company web portal. But as our team grew larger I could focus more on developing custom frontend solutions for graphical presentations, and client-server communication methods.
