I was responsible for Business Development of NAPA Safety Solutions globally with main focus in cruise, ferry and offshore oil & gas segments. My role was to develop and execute growth strategies for selected key accounts together with the account managers and sales representatives. I was closely working with the sales teams to create winning proposals for major opportunities and large tenders, especially in the Americas. The objective was also to ensure customer retention and establish partnerships with strategically significant partners in the Europe and in the Americas.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

I was as responsible for sales of NAPA software solutions and services for the maritime industry in the Americas and acted as a key account manager for the cruise line accounts. I had an overall responsibility of budget preparation and execution of strategy of the sales operations in the territory. Working closely with internal stakeholders from services, product development, finance and legal functions was a daily part of my work, as was working with external co-operation partners.

I was a territory responsible for the sales of NAPA software solutions for the maritime industry in Scandinavia, the UK and Russia. In this position I was also working with American, Canadian and Asian customers. I had an overall responsibility of the planning of sales budget and the strategy in my territory. I gained experience working with ship owners, operators, charterers, ship yards, consultancies and educational institutes in the global marine industry.

My responsibility was to provide different type of support services for the customers of the NAPA ship design software. The daily work included mainly interaction with the customers, as well as cross-functional co-operation between the sales and the product development functions in a multicultural environment. I was mainly working with ship yards and design consultancies located around the Europe and Asia. Typical tasks that I conducted were:• Day-to-day end-user technical support and consultation• Customer training's at NAPA offices as well as on-site at customer premises. • Supporting sales in the execution of software benchmark projects with ship yards and design consultancies. • Specification of new products and reporting of customer needs back to the product development.• Quality control of the NAPA software products.• Customer development projects.
