Senior Vice President | Complex Manager | Premier Manager (2016)Wells Fargo Advisors Sep 2011 - Sep 2019As Complex Manager, I was responsible for managing the Wells Fargo Advisors Upstate New York Complex composed of 7 branches and 94 Financial Advisors.and a half of taking over. We built a solid HUB management team that worked closely with the branches improving acceptance of our complex and national MBO’s. How did we do it? We recruited 13 Financial Advisors from the competition. We sourced, hired and trained 17 FAIT’s/ AFA’s/ FRA’s supporting new blood into the industry. Most importantly, we developed a client’s first approach to wealth management, providing my advisors with team-building skills and empowering our team of FAs and FCAs to succeed with their clients.

Senior Vice President - Branch ManagerMorgan Stanley Jul 2004 - Aug 2009New York, Ny, UsBased in Cleveland, OH I managed the Morgan Stanley Branch Complex which included Akron, OH. The lines of Branch business I managed included Wealth Management (Retail) in Cleveland and Akron and Institutional Sales in Cleveland which covered institutions in Ohio and all of Canada. The Branch Complex accounted for $32 million in annual revenue generated by a very diverse range of Financial Advisors business with 23% of those FA’s achieving council level producer status. Cleveland was one of few branches in the Morgan Stanley system to increase business in 2009. On a personal note, I was asked to speak on diversity hiring on a variety of industry panels. My recruiting efforts resulted in me being awarded fourth in the nation in recruiting for 2008. This was primarily due to my recruiting efforts which brought in $3,458,122 in additional revenue from the competition resulting in Branch profit margins 43% better than the national average. -
Vice President - Investments | Assistant Branch ManagerMorgan Stanley Jan 2002 - Jul 2004New York, Ny, UsI worked in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange branch, which, at the time, was one of the largest branches in the Morgan Stanley branch system, with a very diverse range of businesses from Consulting Group to middle markets futures. I headed up the recruiting effort for the branch bringing in 7 recruits with trailing 12 production of over $11 million in an 18-month period. Net new assets for the branch in 2003 were 2.5% vs. 1.1% for the firm. Achieved maximum of 25 points towards Branch Goals for 2003. Worked closely with 12 Directors Council, 3 Chairman’s Council, and 5 President’s Council FC’s in the branch. -

To staff the branch, we initially moved 10 FA’s from the Clayton and Gateway branches to the new branch. Working closely together with my management team to we recruited 6 FA’s from other firms for Chesterfield and 2 to replace transferred FA’s in the Gateway office for a total of 8 recruits in the first year. Hired one IA for Chesterfield.The branch went from zero to 18 FA’s (one over capacity) in five months. The branch had a trailing twelve production (including recruits) of $7.1mm. -

My primary duties included working with FCA development, recruiting, and sales promotions.
