I am a master’s student in Electrical Engineering at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Hardworking student with considerable research experience in the field of RF and Microwave Engineering, My research work includes designing a metamaterial based absorber which absorbs the incoming electromagnetic radiation. The absorber is suitable for radar applications, antenna applications and device testing. I have worked as a Junior Research Fellow and my task was hardware design, integration, data acquisition and testing for RF power and phase measurement of the RF channels of Lower Hybrid Current drive which is an integral part of the Steady State Tokamak. Such an experience has helped me in publishing a few research papers.Not only this, I also have an in-depth knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python; simulation software such as Matlab, HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator), ADS (Advanced Design System), Altium Designer, Keil microvision IDE, Scilab, FEMM (Finite Element Method Magnetics); and Microsoft office. I would like to use this experience and the skills gained to further explore the field of Electrical Engineering.
