Contract to CarMax: Implemented several projects on the CarMax.com web site using ASP.NET/VB.NET, JavaScript, SQL, and XML. Added the ability to display and print vehicle fact sheets with multiple vehicle photos which was estimated to increase revenue by $10 million per year. Updated enhanced view of the store locations. Implemented redesigned error message display for search results errors. Added a new community page to allow users to read car industry news and learn about car maintenance. Developed UI enhancements for the search results page including row highlighting and clickable rows while simultaneously decreasing the page download size and increasing page performance by over 40%.

Contract to Virginia Information Technology Agency: Developed an integrated web-based information application using ASP.NET/VB.NET and JavaScript to enable HR staff to discover and correct inconsistent data in separate Oracle database applications.

Developed web-based application in ASP.NET/VB.NET used to enter highly detailed medical information for all major organs used in transplantation. This software is used nationwide by hospitals and organ transplant centers to quickly locate compatible transplant recipients for every organ transplant. Also developed projects and maintenance on various public web sites as well as internal applications for content and project management and defect tracking.

Contract to AT&T Wireless: Developed a management tool for collecting, updating, charting, and displaying internal security metrics for use as a tool toward compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. Created a C#-based UI/web with a SQL database backend that allows analysts to input various security data (scanned server vulnerabilities, anti-virus logs, etc) into the database which is then used to generate charts from the web UI. This has enabled management to address and track security vulnerabilities throughout the organization.

Contract to Microsoft: Responsible for design, architecture, security model, and programming of the MSN Operations group's Standard Operating Environment web-based application and content intranet site using the latest programming languages for the interface (VB.NET/ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML and JavaScript) and backend XML/SQL databases (with Views and Stored Procedures). This project enables the group to optimize costs and improve customer service, ensure the standards (server hardware and software) established are feasible and sound. Also to educate the group on the process and document, manage and track the proposals of new and existing standards in driving them towards standardization including qualification and assessment (technical and business analysis, product testing and comparison), approval, implementation and auditing of compliance.
