Long-Form Content Writer for The Sutton Place Hotels. Responsible for crafting compelling and informative blog posts that align with the hotel’s brand voice and marketing strategy. Conducts research on pertinent topics—ranging from travel tips to local cuisine guides—to offer guests and readers valuable insights. An amateur in sourcing and curating appropriate images that enhance the content and engage the audience. Writes on a very casual basis, but consistently delivers quality content when working on a project

Most customer-facing position of front-of-house hospitality. Directs host team of up to 5, manages server section seating rotation, assists in inventory checks, schedules reservations, and engages in the improvement of host team system efficiency.

Team member of the front-of-house hospitality. Prepares tables, guides guests to be seated, performs basic upkeeping, plans reservation scheduling.

Most junior-level developer in R&D. Collaborates effectively in Git, following Agile practices and committing / opening PRs / reviewing the code of peers frequently. Takes on tickets in the Jira backlog and implements solutions in Golang and Angular. Regularly performs basic scrum practices such as daily standups, sprints, retrospectives, and planning.Implements story ACs by oneself and with others. Not fully capable of tackling complex stories alone, but pair programs and ideates collaboratively to accomplish the task at hand. Assists in the writing of RFCs, documentation, FAQs, and postmortems.

Senior member of the Saskatchewan Service Corps. Same responsibilities as junior members, plus leads work teams, identifies personal problems of team members, teaches more advanced sessions (first aid, map / compass, canoeing), manages daily responsibilities on the property, determines solutions for daily problems, delegates tasks to appropriate team members, develops and implements programming, handles any internal conflict, refers to the Bylaws Policies & Procedures in all actions. (Also, although not professional sounding it's true, we worked our butts off HARD 12-16 hours a day in the summer up in the forest)

Junior member of the Saskatchewan Service Corps. Teaches youth instructional sessions on wilderness skills (lighting fires, archery, slingshot, pioneering, axe / knife / saw, stove / lantern, cooking), shovels gravel, digs holes, tamps posts, fells trees, peels spars, lashes constructions, rakes the forest, hauls sand, pitches tents. Works on thinking through problems and fashioning practical but effective solutions with very few supplies.

Customer-facing team member of the company. Processes incoming requests by email, phone, and ticket, assigns projects to appropriate team members, works with customers to reach satisfactory IT solutions, reports to the CEO and consults with the CTO regarding internal operation systems, manages the daily schedules of all senior and junior technicians, handles the creation of billing orders for the CFO and clients.
