I examined and compared law and cases originating from common law jurisdictions, civil law jurisdictions, and jurisprudence from the different international criminal tribunals. I assisted in preparing, proof reading and cite checking decisions on procedural issues. and assist with the preparation of the appeal judgment for Case 002/01. I also assisted in drafting judicial decisions.I worked in a team of 3 interns, along with international legal staff and national legal staff. Working in a busy personal injury office, I was required to assist the lawyers in legal research, case analysis, contacting witnesses and clients and preparing court documents. Due to the nature of the work, it was important that documents were prepared quickly and accurately.
