As a theater, entertainment, and public events operations professional, my proven expertise in the general management of multi-venue facilities includes booking and business development and creating positive support and relationships within social and business community groups. My marketing effort and assistance in fundraising for not-for-profit and for-profit venues, along with my successful production and direction of entertainment, social, and business related events, is recognized as consistent and “key” to a venue’s growth and to its contribution to a community. While leading the production and direction of performing acts, fundraising events, holiday parties, and corporate conferences and meetings, I have enhanced my career with ongoing experience in various venues and events that include rock and pop acts, orchestral programs, dance, theater, and opera based programs. By securing and managing a diverse variety of programming, for four consecutive seasons for a non-for profit Center, we exceeded both financial and operational expectations which led to venue recognition and a substantial increase in both entertainment and community based bookings. I am experienced with seasonal bookings of artists and artist management, tour planning and operations, marketing/promotion, and financial planning. My leadership for the bookings and general management of a 15,000 seat amphitheater, with performance acts and a variety of outdoor festivals, proved successful through the team development of positive business relations with community businesses, major industry related agencies, partners, and promoters.I am an event operations, production, and general management leadership professional with a hands-on style and a result-oriented attitude, that will bring almost immediate and positive results to a domestic or foreign based venue management related organization.
