-Enforce WVUH policies & procedures to provide a safe & secure environment for WVUH facility/property. Perform a variety of duties to provide assistance & information to patients, visitors & staff. -Facilitate the day-to-day operations of the Security Department staff on shift. Ensure that staff assignments/duties are completed per established standards for timeliness, service & productivity. -Liaison between the Security Department & upper management across the facility. Provide a customer service-based experience/support for patients & visitors throughout the duration of their stay. -Maintain daily integrity & functionality of the shift, while tackling additional responsibilities issued by senior leadership. Trainings, Certifications, and Licenses:-WV Concealed Carry Weapons Permit since February 2019-PA Act 235 Certified Lethal Weapons Training (Licensed since April 2021)-Axon Enterprise, Inc. TASER Conducted Energy Weapons training and exposure-AVADE Handcuffing and OC Spray certified training instructor-Heartsaver CPR and AED trained-Narcan trained and certified training instructor through WV Department of Health & Human Resources.

Security Guard/Bouncer at The Annex and Almost Heaven Bar & Grill-Provided protection for patrons & bar staff to keep the environment safe & comfortable for everyone. -Progressed from in house security to front door staff, where I provided pat-down safety search inspections of patrons & their belongings. Checked & verified customer’s identification was valid before entry. -Worked with Morgantown Police, Monongalia EMS, and WV State Fire Marshalls to resolve issues with unruly/intoxicated patrons.
