First, I’m a family man with three kids and a dog, second, a sound/video production manager for a community non-profit and third, I play guitar in a local band. There’s a lot of fun going on here that I love to talk about, but let’s get down to business:I am an engineering manager with 10 years of experience in diverse leadership roles on a platform delivering Autodesk products. The platform is critical to the Autodesk subscription business model. The “diversity” ranges from leading Dev/QA/DevOps teams to leading a scaled organization of Product Owners to designing and leading a cross-geo Developer Relations team. My success here has a strong prior technical foundation of 12 years as an engineer with continual customer contact in the domain of software product access and delivery.I work across business functions and organizations to crisply define objectives, and then develop the right teams to plan and execute on schedule. As a professional, I'll identify and address any obstacles early and keep everyone's expectations in sync. My technical background and mindset give me the advantage when leading and coaching engineers, and I am excellent at representing business requirements to engineering teams - and vice versa.
