Provided a 24 hour real-time intelligence service supporting spontaneous incidents and existing investigations. Interrogated both open source and specialist intelligence systems to identify risk and support command and control decision making. Acted as single point of contact for outside forces and agencies such as Interpol. Acted as deputy in the absence of the team leader.

Operated the Police National Computer and interpreted information at the request of other officers, communicating this information over the radio, phone or email. Provided a PNC update and enquiry service within the force and maintained accuracy of local information held on this system.

Working within the Leicestershire County Council Emergency and Contingency Planning team supervised and coordinated the activities of 100+ community flood wardens and other emergency volunteers. Recruited and trained volunteers, organised and attended community based events and administered all artifacts and databases related to this project.
