To direct & manage all operational aspects of the store which includes Front-end operations, Customer Service, Merchandising, Inventory, Entertainment & the Service related areas in the store. In conjunction with the Store Manager, manage store operations in order to maximize budgeted revenues, profits & customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities1 Merchandising/Store Presentation - Manage the performance of Merchandising department & ensure merchandising standards are met. 2 Inventory & Shrink Management – Direct & manage inventory & shrink programs. Oversee shipping/receiving function in the store & ensure inventory levels are maintained. Identify loop holes in all related systems & correct to ensure asset protection.3 Profitability – Analyze P&L to identify negative trends & opportunities on service & entertainment revenues & store expenses. Monitor all cost controls for the store & develop & Implement corrective actions as needed. Manage/control labour cost in the store.4 Entertainment Revenues - Drive sales & gross margin in Entertainment areas in the store: Develop & implement appropriate plans to resolve negative trends.5 Customer Service, Returns, Exchange & Front-end - Manage all aspects of customer service, returns & cash administration as per SOP. Oversee account receivables, expense payable, banking & audit. Manage risk & avoid bad debts.6 Recruitment, Training & Development - Responsible for recruitment, training & development of associates in related areas. 7 Security & Safety– Apply SOP re: store opening & closing procedures, product security, key controls & alarms. In conjunction with the DSM/s, ensure security of merchandise at all times. Direct & monitor implementation of Safety Program SOP.

Responsible for planning and organizing the successful execution of all merchandising & inventory related functions in the store; adherence to planograms, inventory data integrity, shrink control, product replenishment, & signage/pricing. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are adhered to in daily activities & customer experience in store is maintained. Supervise, coach & develop direct reports.
