Happily settled in a foreign land for decades,practicing as an Ophthalmologist, consulting elderly in Dubai ,and their eye related issues and other issues- related to retirement and ageing itself .. “I understood what trust and responsibility are all about.While exploring, I learnt about an information gap in senior care industry in India.The industry is unorganised and at a very nascent stage. People have a lot of trust and security issues, when it comes to senior care.When covid hit and made senior citizens helpless due to lockdown , I decided to launch Seniors first, an online platform for all caretools ,senior care products and At- Home care medical and non medical services ,for senior care in India. We received over 1000 calls for help and could help over 500 families get oxygen cylinders, daily meals, hospital beds, and home assistance etc during the second wave of Covid19. We have received a tremendous response from the NRI, senior citizens and the senior care service providers.We intend to guide returning Indians from Gulf, Parents of NRI and elderly couples living alone ,of the ample living solutions in India.We will enable senior citizens live independent, secure , engaged and happy life.I am proud of the social impact Seniors First is making.
