We help big retailers know exactly what their competition is doing, every day.My role at 360pi is in data quality and product verification. I'm responsible for validating new features of our products before release and verifying the quality of the data used by our AI algorithms. The performance of our systems is heavily dependant on quality of the input data, so the work I do has an important impact on the company as a whole.Here's some of the things I work on: • Exploratory testing and diagnosis of data quality issues, analyzing systems and algorithms• Reports on product data quality with accuracy estimates, used internally and in sales• Estimating efficiency, hypothesis testing of improvements in internal systems• Writing in-house analysis software in Python, Pandas, Scipy• Fully testing and deploying an enterprise scale SaaS product every 2 weeks• Required to test and work on every element of the stack• Developing web applications using Python, Flask, Tornado, MongoDB, Nginx

Samalander-OS is a small documentation services company that is passionate about helping small and medium sized business organize their technical documentation. This is a challenging data organization and retrieval problem with unique problems and solutions.I was responsible for design, development and release of the Samalander Software Center (www.samalander.com), a desktop application used by technical writers to manage their documentation. We released October 2012. Following the release of our software I worked on marketing, customer support, sales, website management and ongoing development.
