About Fox Fry

Hi there! My name is Fox Fry. I’m a journalism student at Southdowns college, and I volunteer in a local establishment, Age UK. My roles and responsibilities as a student vary greatly. As of April 2024, I’m working on my own website/blog post as a result of my experiences of delving into the developments of invisible disabilities. This includes Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD for the prototypes, and plenty of microsoft platforms such as google forms for critical analysis. After my work in artificial intelligence, I wanted to establish something more unique to me; but still important to consider in media. My main philosophy is that the main project for something can be improved after a prolonged period of time with minor adjustments. These minor adjustments in my viet make all the difference between an effective piece, and a bland generic article. This is very strong in my efforts to deliver a smarter way of working quite frequently, going so far as to make an entire podcast guide about it! After the decline of the interests of a recent personal favourite Youtube channel known as Game theory, I decided to research the theory itself, as well as how this could be incorporated into my work. I hope to look into more theorems as time passes. However- I am not just following Game theory; I also decided to re-incorporate Parkingson’s law into my workspace to deliver a more effective workspace, and to some extent, more into my own space. My goal as a young professional is to deliver something that is powerful as it is truthful, but my goal is to deliver information to subjects that are significant to the media; that aren’t examined as much as we expect. My primary example is my Final Major Project in college. I don’t see this ethical debate discussed in the media. So, I’m getting the research and statistics from all corners, my own, physiological dives if necessary. This is to all make something greater than myself. Something that causes conversation. Discussion. Change. For the better parts of society. In smaller, more acute ways.

News Anchor

United Kingdom

I worked in the media suite in Park community in early mornings for the radio and for the late show, Butterfly Broadcast. There, I read lines from a camera about the local news and it actually made great practice as in my younger years, I had some stutters on camera which only faded over time over practice. However, yet again, after we left school and my account was deleted yet again, more years of work was lost because the former producer left, leaving our old videos deleted.

Despite the lack of preserved recordings from my time, this once-a-day responsibility allowed me to contribute to an engaging and personalized radio experience. In this dynamic position, I collaborated with fellow presenters to deliver content tailored for the school audience. The daily frequency of the show allowed for a consistent connection with listeners, fostering a sense of community through the shared experience of the radio broadcast.Regrettably, the absence of preserved recordings means that all of the work I contributed as a young student is now lost to time. Nevertheless, the memories of being part of a vibrant radio community remain cherished. The radio facility, though undocumented during my tenure, continued to be utilized by subsequent students. In the spirit of preserving the legacy, I've attached a recording of other students using the same facility, offering a glimpse into the environment where I once served as a radio presenter. However, later recordings of other students using the same facility was later recorded, so for the benifit of the doubt to know what it looked like, I've attached one.
