I have had the honor to walk alongside so many amazing individuals in my career journey. Starting with serving youth through tutoring and eventually becoming a public-school elementary teacher in both Seattle and St. Louis. I then moved on to work with women impacted by incarceration through my work at Progress House Association at the VP of Client Affairs. Finally, I have had the honor to work with those impacted by Sickle Cell Disease throughout WA State as the Executive Director of the Sickle Cell Foundation of WA. More than all the many professional skills I have developed over the years of working in the non-profit space, I truly value the intrapersonal skills of compassion and humility. I am truly grateful who to all those who have taught me how to work with passion and dedication .
