I spearheaded the project management and development of 'Ovation,' an innovative all-in-one device for cell culture automation, enhancing laboratory efficiency and reliability. My role was crucial in corporate strategic planning, where I collaborated closely with the leadership team to define our vision, mission, and strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with our long-term objectives. My efforts were instrumental in securing significant non-dilutive investment from the Limburg development agency LIOF, demonstrating my capability in advanced research and financial strategy to foster sustainable growth and innovation.

As a Grants Consultant, I focused on grant writing, using a thorough understanding of clients' services to create compelling narratives that correspond with strategic market positioning. My methodology blended rigorous business analysis with creative content creation to improve grant bids, ensuring they resonated with funding agencies and met market demands. I provided strategic advice to clients to improve their market presence and operational initiatives, resulting in a large increase in grant funding. My experience in customer relations and external communications was critical in developing solid client connections, guiding them through the complexities of the grant application process with a focus on achieving outcomes and encouraging long-term success.

My research was critical in determining the mechanical properties of a large library of 300 polymers using atomic force microscopy (Chemotopochip). This research considerably improved our understanding of material science applications in cellular biology, particularly in the field of mechanobiology. My collaboration efforts extended beyond specific projects, and I have contributed my mechanobiology skills to eight scientific publications. These collaborations among interdisciplinary teams increased the effect of our research and demonstrated the value of cross-disciplinary approaches in promoting scientific innovation.

During my doctoral research, I specialised on creating hydrogel and polymeric microparticles and analysed their mechanical properties to promote the creation of organs with mesenchymal stem cells in three-dimensional settings. By bridging the gap between material science and cell biology, this work aims to advance the development of novel tissue engineering techniques. My journey involved critical thinking in experimental design and data analysis in addition to technical proficiency in synthesis and characterization. I overcame the challenges of my PhD project with persistence and committed project management, which led to the creation of novel approaches to stem cell research and an advancement in the field's knowledge.

As a Graduate Trainee, I worked on the development of Trastuzumab nanoformulation for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer brain metastases. This study not only improved my technical knowledge of nanoformulation, but also expanded my understanding of its use in oncology, paving the way for new cancer therapy. My work required rigorous research, experimental design, and data analysis, which helped to enhance targeted treatments. The study emphasised the significance of interdisciplinary teamwork, critical thinking, and a detail-oriented approach to addressing complex medical challenges.
