As the Head Engineer, I bring to the table an impressive 23 years of hands-on experience in the realms of software development and management. My journey commenced with a solid foundation in academia - in 2014, I was awarded a Doctor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious COPPE at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). This was built upon my prior accomplishment of earning a Master of Science degree in the same domain from the same institution in 2006.Another feather in my cap is ranking within the top 5 of my MBA class in Enterprise Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). My dedication to staying at the cutting edge of technology led me to complete a Blockchain Technology Specialization from the globally recognized MIT Sloan School of Management in 2019. Soon after, in 2020, I further augmented my portfolio with a postgraduate degree in Machine Learning from the esteemed Columbia University.Professionally, I have worked on 156 esteemed projects for a diverse array of notable entities such as the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, Brazilian Navy, COPPE/Sistemas, Tribunal de Contas do Estado de São Paulo - TCE-SP, Petrobras, Embratel, Bull, Brazilian Labor Ministry, Indra, and many more. My collaborations span across regions including, but not limited to, Estados de Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Pará, Chile, El Salvador, and USA. This extensive reach has armed me with multifaceted and international expertise.Over the last half-decade, my focus has been tailored towards backend solutions, holding pivotal roles as a senior software engineer and architect. My hands have crafted solutions utilizing avant-garde technologies such as Python, AWS, CI/CD, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, AI, and ML. This technological acumen has empowered me to architect solutions that are not just robust but can be scaled to suit the bespoke requirements of clients from a myriad of industries.Beyond the realms of software, I stand recognized as an esteemed author with a substantial body of work, including 25 technical papers and three in-depth books. My publications navigate modern topics such as Service-Oriented Architecture, Mobile iPhone (iOS) development, and the nuanced realm of Game-Based Learning. Through these works, I channel my fervor for knowledge-sharing and my talent for simplifying complex ideas into easily comprehensible insights.
