As a deputy manager of corporate governance I lead a team of seven people who are lawyers and accountants. During my leadership, I standardized processes for the audit of corporate aspects and corporate governance practices of listed companies. I also led the regulatory project for the remote shareholder’s meeting of listed companies which was a huge advance in the capital market due to the fact that this regulation allows shareholders to participate virtually in the shareholder’s meeting. Regarding integrity and compliance, I led the creation of the Integrity Program for the National Securities Commission. Finally, I led regulatory projects and educational documents related to sustainable finance, green bonds and ESG disclosures.

In my experience as a legal professional, I was appointed to lead the public consultation of the first regulation related to green, social and sustainable bonds in the Argentine capital market.Regarding international requirements, I worked with OECD and IOSCO in relation to sustainable finance and corporate governance in the capital market.On a daily basis, I assessed corporate issues of listed companies. I also worked on legal opinions in response to technical inquiries of public companies. I have also prepared legal opinions on regulatory projects which were going to become regulations.

During my time in the trainee program at Marval, I had the opportunity to develop valuable skills in the critical analysis of contracts and corporate documentation for M&A processes. Likewise, I actively engaged in providing daily counsel to companies, where I was responsible for tasks such as preparing corporate minutes, managing registrations in the public registry of corporate authorities, bylaw reforms, and capital increases. Furthermore, I gained hands-on experience in the litigation department for a duration of six months drafting responses to lawsuits, preparing trial evidence, and handling official correspondence. Moreover, I worked in the banking sector, where I played an active role in drafting trust and corporate bond prospectuses. I also diligently followed up on presentations before the National Securities Commission, providing me with valuable insights into the regulatory processes within the banking industry.
