Leading strategic initiatives to drive improved processes for grant management, compliance, and program implementation in the nonprofit sector is the hallmark of my 15-year career. Throughout my career, I have overseen $10M project budgets, managed 38 grants simultaneously, and led 10 direct and 42 indirect reports. I’m proud to have earned respect as a transparent, influential leader who fosters cross-collaboration to deliver projects on time and within budget. Among my specialties include designing KPIs to measure and inform evidence-based decisions that empower individuals.I presently serve as a consultant at several nonprofits, including Norris Square Community Alliance, Capital District Latinos, and Family Promise of the Capital Region. Among the many tasks I perform include redesigning, optimizing, and establishing improved grant management processes, grant compliance, and grant reporting. For the last three years, I leveraged my talents as a Senior Research Support Specialist and Research Scientist at the Center for Human Services Research. From 2013 to 2015, I was commissioned by the Boys & Girls Club of Puerto Rico to establish an educational program in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and increase the visibility of the organization with new sources of funding.A few of Félix’s selected accomplishments:⭐ Developed and implemented the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan for Albany County. ⭐ Automized grant and contract management at a $10M nonprofit organization. ⭐ Established Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and NPSP at two nonprofit organizations without prior digital integration. ⭐Oversaw a $1.3M budget and drove compliance management practices aligned with Baldridge Performance Excellence Criteria at Boys & Girls Club of Puerto Rico.In addition to my professional achievements, I possess exemplary educational qualifications, including a Master of Science in Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Sacred Heart.
