The role is about enabling KPMG's indirect tax professionals around the globe to share and access the knowledge generated by the common accumulated experience and know-how. The position also involves the sharing of insights externally via publications such as KPMG's Global Indirect Tax Brief or KPMG' Global Indirect Tax website (see the link above).

At KPMG Turkey, I have assisted both foreign companies operating locally to understand the VAT treatment applicable to their business and local companies operating (or planning to) in the EU to understand the related VAT consequences (place of supply, registration, liability).

• At KPMG Luxembourg, I worked with clients from various industry sectors, supporting them to manage the VAT aspects of their business, for example:
• financial services sector: review of partial exemption methodology and optimization of VAT recovery
• e-Commerce sector: advisory work related to migration of e-commerce companies to Luxembourg
• manufacturing sector: review of chain supplies and cross-border supplies of servicesI was involved in tax due diligence, external VAT training and VAT health check across industries.I shared my experience with more.
