As a member of the global Project Management Office (PMO), I was responsible for the governance of Verizon's projects for implementing new circuits, both for clients and internal use. My role also involved, among other things, the management of SLAs, the accounts receivable, and daily operations to ensure Verizon's responsiveness as a telecommunications solution provider.I successfully led the separation of data and voice environments between IBM and Kyndryl for services provided by Verizon. I led and integrated teams from procurement, finance, and contracts, ensuring perfect alignment with the accounts payable system and significantly reducing operational risks for Kyndryl.Additionally, I acted as an integrative element in transformation projects on Telecommunications for AT&T and Verizon globally, which allowed me to constantly expose my intercultural communication skills, especially in the migration of circuits to new technologies, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. This project involved more than 1500 items, which also required tight controls and documentation of the status of each item, including on keeping the decisions and approval records for each group of circuits, enabling this project to be audit ready and compliant. To ensure transparency and traceability, the project data and the progress tracking of the activities were shown in a PowerBI dashboard.

This is a continuation of the previous role, with additional tasks:Reviewed and adjusted the process to comply with the changes in the billing because of the spin-off. Executed reverse-engineering on billing to understand the gaps between IBM and Kyndryl accounting and cost allocation. Led efforts to communicate and propose solutions on those gaps to finance and accounting. Defined new operational procedures with the network service providers, reducing the response time on requests.

Led the cost optimization project office, coordinating the teams and auditing the results in this area. Worked directly with the major telecom companies in the US, leading transformation projects for network, including network infrastructure, mainframe, and system integration (ticketing system). Led cost optimization initiatives and infrastructure updates, ensuring significant improvements in system efficiency and performance.

The Project Executive role at IBM has an equivalent role to Client Success Manager: I represented the clients' interests within IBM, identifying their needs and objectives and working to ensure their success. Defined the strategy, guidance, and led teams dedicated to direct interaction with IBM clients. My team managed services ranging from internalization for IBM to IT transformation, improving resources through projects, as well as managing clients' daily operations. Led the finance and sales teams, including architects, legal, pricing, and quality, ensuring complete and effective alignment. I also worked closely with Procurement to acquire software licenses and replacing a service desk vendor for one client. Maintained direct relationships with CXOs of global and national companies, serving clients in Europe and the Americas, including companies listed in the TOP 100 of Forbes (2023).Key Accomplishments: Contract extension and renewals up to 10 years long. Led the South America + Mexico region on sales and delivery for client Dupont as part of the global leadership. Enabled MDM to Royal and SunAlliance in the US – First to adopt in Brazil.Amended multiple contracts for new services and extensions, including a Mainframe Migration, and a merger between two financial institutions. The Delivery Project Executive role at IBM has an equivalent role to Sr. IT Manager: As a Delivery Project Executive, I led the team that provided technical support to IBM clients, ensuring high-quality deliveries within the financial resources allocated for each client. Led the technical support teams to deliver high performance results and compliance with their and IBM’s processes. Led transformation projects, including the whole platform migration (database + middleware) of a client ensuring scalability and stability. Developed plans, in conjunction with the client, to mitigate operational risks in their environment. Led multi-functional teams, from midrange to mainframe and production, from helpdesk to change management and quality teams to deliver all items in the contract. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with both global and local clients, interacting with them at various levels, from technical staff to CXOs, strengthening relationships and ensuring client satisfaction and success.Area of expertise: Financial sector
