Over 30 years experience as a licensed Pawnbroker and member, Director and President of the Alabama Pawnbrokers Association (APA) and the National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA). Currently Government Relations Liaison for both Associations concentrating on legislative and regulatory areas of State and Federal Governments. Primary areas being the Banking, Financial Services and Judiciary where I have testified on behalf of the pawn industry before both the State and Federal Committees. Recognized by the BATFE for Leadership in partnering between the ATF and NPA to improve Education and Communication. Recipient of the NPA Charles S. Jones Lifetime Achievement Award and twice the APA John D. Burleson Award exemplifying Honesty, Hard Work, Community & Industry involvement, and concern for fellow man.
