I am not a common lawyer, even if sometimes I wear a briefcase and tie. Since I finished my degree I knew that I want to specialise in the field of (new) technologies. It was the dawn of 2000 and if you didn't have a Palm you were dead, Yahoo was all the rage and we all used messenger.A Master's degree -best TFM of the promotion on intellectual property in the digital field-, specialisation courses (MIT, Harvardx, ISMS Forum, Aenor...), and a professional career of nearly 20 years old.Training and experience have led me to manage IT Legal projects with large companies and corporations, multinationals -and of course SMEs-, having the opportunity to work with one of the largest financial institutions in the world and with one of the most important EU institutions as IT Lawyer and Data Protection Assistant.I not only train myself, I also train other people, and it is also something I am passionate about. For the last 8 years I have been sharing my experience training -and learning- with my students of the Digital Marketing Master of EBF (European Business Factory) and the University of Santiago de Compostela. This is where I can give free rein to my geeky passions by talking about the legal environment in the digital field. Through my consultancy (atdata) I offer my own training programme to companies and organisations to understand the implications of data protection regulations, in order to make the work of the people in charge of managing them a little more bearable.I am a curious and restless person, always looking for new professional challenges. I like to study and analyse the implications of new technologies in law and their special impact on people's privacy. That is why I am currently devoting part of my time and resources to reading and researching about the intersection of ethics, privacy and artificial intelligence, an exciting field that will increasingly have a greater impact on our lives.I am eager to tackle new projects and make my knowledge and experience available to you.
