Prepared and proofed all closing documents before Closing Agent took them to each home closing. Researched needed information for chain of title to land, typed and proofed metes and bounds, transferred information to our title plant from courthouse documents concerning liens, heirs etc. to each plot of land. Ordered payoff and copied and delivered all closing documents and payoffs to their right places to record, payoff previous loans etc. before deadlines to do so. Used Landata software along with MS Word. I also in a pinch was able to fill in as closing agent when necessary.
