Having had a short career break following voluntary severance from Bristol City Council in June 2014, I will be resuming my career in October/November 2014. Having had extensive experience in management accounting, and more recently managing and delivering two high profile projects linked to changes in working practices, I am looking to go in one of a number of directions when I start work again. I very much enjoyed the pressure of delivering the projects on time, to extremely tight deadlines and also the training involved in delivering one of the projects, along with writing a manual from scratch for all users. I am keen to learn new areas of work and excellent at prioritising workloads and delivering them on time. I have had a very good working relationship with other members of my team, management, and directors alike, being very approachable and open to suggestions. A significant part of the work I have been doing over the last couple of years has been solo projects, which I enjoy as much as working with others. I would particularly like to work on shorter term projects/contracts to give me some variety in the work I will be doing.
