Responsible for developing a statewide project to create a community integrated heath network including health plans, health care entities, social service agencies, and community based organizations. The goal is to improve health care outcomes for under served and special needs populations by coordinating access and delivery of services that address social determinants of health .

Leader of Anthem's evidence based Care Transitions Intervention program targeted to reduce hospital readmissions and improve member engagement in managing chronic conditions. Annual program evaluation shows signficant reduction in the cost of care and 2:1 ROI. Responsible for teams of health coaches in seven states. Works in collaboration with Anthem leaders in mulitple lines of business and hospital leaders, pursuing a growth strategy.

Managed and developed a portfolio of community based services at local Area Agency on Aging to maximize the independence of older adults, persons with disabilities, and to support their caregivers. Provided leadership for a wide range of programs including Central Intake, Care Transitions, Managed Care Coordination, Home Based Care, LTC Ombudsman, Benefits Counseling, Senior Volunteers. Built collaborative relationships with leaders of other organizations, at local, state, and national level. Responsible for oversight of budgets, grants, and contracts.

Selected as participant in national leadership development program for healthcare executives. Innovation and creating practice change was the focus of the program.

Directly managed HR functions for 12 different locations. Participated in the strategic planning process and ensured alignment of Human Resources initiatives and workforce planning. As Corporate Ethics Officer investigated, documented, and resolved complaints. Served as organizational liaison with legal counsel regarding EEO and Workers Compensation issues.
