It is the official newspaper for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, the cities of Eagle Butte and Dupree, and Dewey and Ziebach County.• Award-winning local journalism on government and business; national and South Dakota politics; and the intersection of Indigenous and colonial cultures in politics, art, activism, food and culture.• Transformed the community’s relationship to its local newspaper through examining the pandemic in historical context; addressing political polarization; rebuilding relationships with local government and business; creation of a community Advisory Board; and expansion of freelancing pool.

Work with Board and staff to manage administrative, operational and communication components of proposed and established projects related to the growth of a young but thriving non-profit with a focus on growing national programming to empower veterans through service in communities facing social and environmental issues of human rights. Client: Ohio Department of MedicaidParticipated in elevation of a new cabinet-level agency. Single-handedly executed redesign and launch of www.medicaid.ohio.gov to 2.3M Ohioans, 75K providers, 400+ staff. Coordinated portion of the $28.8M Internet/ Intranet launch for new agency. Reported to steering group of CIOs of Medicaid, Job & Family Services, and State CIO.
