I'm part of the communications and advertising team, creating and managing all forms of communication such as brochures, magalogues, product descriptions, product packaging labels, promos, posters, and social media posts. I also write project briefs, campaign presentations and proposals, and company memos, emails, announcements, et al.

My memoir (or momoir!) is a look back on my decade as a wife and mother, told through short and poignant essays about how love was the secret to making it through the day. I'm so happy to report that Not Invisible is a popular and well-received book. I'm very proud of it! Working on two new books!

We are the local arm of the Lean In organization of Sheryl Sandberg, building support groups for working women across Manila to empower, equip and educate them toward better working conditions and opportunities for Filipinas.

I loved my job handling content creation and management for our clients! It was so fun managing the creative teams that work on these brands: Aura, Dressbarn, Pier 1, Om & Ah, Khush, The Sole Supplier, Stein Mart, Kidoriman, MYKA, Cloudberry, B.O.B., and more fashion and lifestyle e-commerce sites.- I wrote branded content for The Asian Parent.- I was beauty editor for L’Oréal Paris. I wrote articles on makeup and skincare to help boost sales of our brands on Lazada and Shopee.- I was acting editor-in-chief of beauty e-commerce site, Calyxta.com. I edited articles sent by beauty writers and oversaw photo and video shoots.- I wrote product descriptions for e-commerce beauty site, Freyja.- My articles have been published in print magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Seventeen, Candy, Total Girl, Entrepreneur, Martha Stewart Weddings, and on websites like UpsidePH, ANCX, Wyeth Parenteam, Project Vanity, BDJBox.com, SunLife’s The Brighter Life, The Style Glossy, and Spot.ph.

Sole proprietor of Frances Jules Amper Sales Writing Services, a business I set up as a professional blogger- Through my blog, Topaz Horizon, and social media platforms, I work on digital PR and marketing campaigns (ex. Smart Communications, Pampers, Physiogel, Skechers, Welch's, etc.). I also collaborate with brands by holding workshops and speaking engagements to increase awareness of their products and brand values (ex. Bobbi Brown, Philosophy, Biogenic Alcohol, Elin Maternity & Nursing Wear).

As part of our marketing team, I planned and implemented public relations campaigns for our clientele of lifestyle brands (Soban, Joy, Laneige, etc). These initiatives were designed for print, digital, and social media. I mounted media events that created buzz for a product or a service. Most importantly, I built and nurtured relationships with media, influencers, and celebrities who helped our clients with enhancing their image.

I was the editor of the product pages of BABY magazine, choosing books, beauty products, fashion finds, and items for moms and young children. I also helped increase awareness of the title and maintained good relations with brands through events and social media.

My column was called Behind the Scenes where I featured prominent personalities and their career, projects, worthy causes, and their fashion and beauty secrets.

I managed OK!, the celebrity entertainment franchise from the U.K. Together with my efficient team of 7, we churned out pages of top editorial content about celebrities, entertainment news, and lifestyle, all packaged in a dynamic and fun layout. We worked with many fashion and beauty brands for their marketing and promotions needs. I also promoted the magazine on TV spots and radio shows.

As the second-in-command to the editor-in-chief, I assisted her in executing her vision for OK!, the celebrity magazine we produced every month. I was the traffic officer, and made sure the magazine ran smoothly and met deadlines—from contributors to layout to production. I also took care of administrative work such as balancing accounts, submitting expense reports, and keeping everything needed to make a magazine within budget.

I promoted the monthly issues of magazines Seventeen, Total Girl, K-Zone, Top Gear, T3, Gamesmaster and Candy to TV, radio and newspapers. I also promoted the many events that our company held for its titles, from baby pageants for Good Housekeeping to the bachelor bashes of Cosmopolitan. My job entailed writing press releases, arranging guest spots for editors on TV and radio, pitching features for publications, and nurturing good relationships with the press.

I wrote articles on gadgets and technology for the home. I also wrote features on important personalities in the IT industry.

I handled the release of press material for a senator, archived the senator's photos and other media mileage, and also wrote her speeches on female empowerment and inspiring the youth.

I taught, played with, and guided the development of kids 3-5 years old with fun and creative lessons and games. In summer, I taught Creative Writing for Kids. I also catalogued the library.
