Frances Borshell is the CEO of Eye Specialists, the largest independent and privately held ophthalmology group in the state, with over 10 years of executive experience in the eye care industry. She holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Nova Southeastern University, and specializes in EBITDA growth, operational efficiencies, organizational culture, de novo, M&A, and marketing.Frances is passionate about putting people first, and believes that when you prioritize care over profit, profit comes. She leads with an employee-first mindset, and focuses on driving exponential growth through increasing market share and revenue, seeking acquisition opportunities, and improving the organization's products or services. She is also the co-founder and CMO of Grounding Wire, a non-profit organization dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Outside of business, Frances teaches meditation and present mind awareness techniques, and supports community partners such as the YMCA.
