- Member of the Senior Leadership Team- Providing company secretariat function for the organisation and Board support - Lead for EDI development

- Reviewed and updated organisation’s constitution and standing orders - Established a new committee structure, ensuring the governance arrangements were aligned to future organisation ambitions, streamlining arrangements and leading to greater clarity in the decision-making process.- Developed and launched a new model of volunteer representation and engagement for the organisations 21,000 volunteers, ensuring that volunteers have a voice in decision making leading to a stronger, more unified workforce and enhanced services.- Strengthened the organisation's ability to keep people safe through the management and delivery of an improvement project for British Red Cross safeguarding practice across international and the UK work, resulting in an improved framework, practice and reporting of incidents. - Increased the diversity of the Board of Trustees by championing change and establishing targeted campaigns which increased the number of applications from under-represented groups.- Championed inclusion and diversity, and as a member of the Inclusion and Diversity Steering Group led on the development and delivery of the organisation's Inclusion and Diversity Strategy.

- Led governance review and restructure of Mind’s governance arrangements which led to the organisation being awarded ‘Most Improved Trustee Board’ in the Third Sector Awards 2008. - Delivered Mind’s 2012 corporate strategy development, taking an imaginative approach to ensure the inclusion of users views in the development of the strategy.- Delivered the largest quantitative and qualitative survey Mind had undertaken of mental health service users achieving circa 3,000 responses to ensure that user views informed the strategy. - Introduced diversity champions in Mind's governance structure.
