Do you feel like your life is out of control? That something needs to change but you don’t know what, despite doing self-reflection and attempting to “fix it”? This is where I can help you. I have experience working with adolescents, and adults who are struggling with a range of life situations such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, sexual abuse/trauma and relationship issues. I am interested in you as an individual and am committed to helping you learn what causes you to be stuck and repeating dysfunctional patterns. I use evidenced based interventions that you practice in session before you practice them at home, work or school. My approach is active, direct and flexible. I employ cognitive behavioral theory, mindfulness and coaching methods. To learn what is important to you, I am open and accepting as I listen to you share your unique experiences. I do not stay stuck in the past, but I do use past trauma as a tool to help you learn how these wounds are causing present day conflicts. You will use practical strategies to learn new ways of being to change your thoughts and unhelpful patterns to create a life that meets your physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
