The research I was assisting in aims to look at digital technology and interventions for psychosis, in order to identify barriers to engagement with digital technology and suggest ways to improve engagement with digital technology. The role also involves supporting a literature search, setting up an online mixed methods research study to further investigate using digital technology and interventions for psychosis. As well as carrying out administrative tasks and helping in creating bids for further research in this area.

OutcomeHome is a social enterprise providing psychological services to people who are homeless who suffer mental health needs and health and social exclusion.I provide one to one low level psychological therapies to people experiencing a range of mental health needs. I also provide reflective practice to our experts by experience as part of our peer monitoring program.

As a Samaritans listener I do not only offer support in moments of crisis, but I offer people of all ages and backgrounds, skills and tactics to manage their feelings and prevent future crises. From taking calls or to responding to emails, being a listener at Samaritans has expanded my ability to listen sensitively, effectively and non-judgementally, to ensure the best possible service and care to each user.

The aim of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Peer Champion project is to improve child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS) education for student children’s nurses. Thus, I am helping to design, develop and distribute educational responses regarding child mental health in response to outreach data. A CAMHS educational conference for student children’s nurses will then be held, which I will be both preparing and facilitating, supported by academic colleagues.

As a telephone befriender my aim is reduce feelings of social isolation and loneliness in elderly individuals by ringing each member and building a friendly rapport. I have completed widespread training and gained certificates in the Mental Capacity Act, Alzheimer's disease, Confidentiality and Information handling. Each course allowed to develop my knowledge and understanding of the needs of older people and the care sector.

Grand Pacific Group are a multimillion-dollar waterside venue company, focusing on high class events. During my time there, I worked in their office in which I was responsible for responding to emails in a timely manner, calling clients to offer them information on each venue and answering guests queries over the phone about potential bookings. Grand Pacific Group are highly reputable and attention to detail is imperative in the running of everyday operations. I also worked at their events as a member of waitstaff and as a bridal attendant for some of their largest weddings at Sergeants Mess.
