• Manages the deployment of recruitment and on-boarding processes to enable new employees to fill vacant positions by generating offer letters and completing new hire transactions.
• Maintains records of benefit plans participation such as insurances and pension administration, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations and employee statistics.
• Facilitate random drug screens and manage the DOT program.
• Oversees training management in effective interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment and diversity requirements.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs. Acts as a resource to all A.M. Ortega employees.

• Project manage and schedule all required safety training for all staff on a regular basis, to include gas pipeline qualifications, re-qualifications, various hands-on training, Veriforce, and other training as needed.
• Assist in the onboarding process by creating various employee training accounts, assign required training, and conducting New Hire Orientation.
• Project manage Veriforce training to ensure all applicable employees remain in compliance.
• Report monthly hours and incidents for employees and subcontractors through ISNetworld tool.
• Conduct monthly claims reviews and collaborate with Insurance on how to move forward on each claim.
• Assist Human Resources Department in Workman’s Comp cases with reporting and management of each case.
