For four years, I got to work with the most amazing housing heroes! They were donors, supporters, volunteers and shoppers. Their support made it possible (and still does) for families to build or repair their very own place to call home.I founded and managed a development department of six talented professionals in fundraising, marketing & communications, volunteer programs and advocacy. In our 3+ years as a team we increased the annual fundraising revenue from $1 million in private and public funds to $7 million!Notable accomplishments: -oversaw launch of $28 million comprehensive campaign-member of Habitat for Humanity California legislative committee; many pieces of pro-production housing legislation have been signed into law thanks to the committee-Spearheaded and authored grant application resulting in $5 million in government funding

I had the honor of engaging of 70+ diverse faith and community institutions to support a $4 million fundraising goal and housing policy priorities to transform NYC into a city where everyone has a decent place to call home.

Managed $14+ million affordable housing and community development projects through technical assistance, monitoring, cultivation of community and government partnerships and grant writing.

Designed and taught 10 2nd-5th grade classes per week for 250 students at an elementary school in Northern France-Developed behavior management program to reward positive behavior and encourage learning-Mentored school district’s first year foreign language teachers

Trained 600 employees on site in all 296 Lowes and Home Depot stores in the southeastern states on product knowledge-Successfully planned and executed 6-week 100% travel itinerary to ensure full training of employees
