During this internship I have worked towards a Cambridge University Press book called ‘British Historical Statistics’, which is updating Roger Mitchell’s book of the same name. This includes compiling and studying long run foreign exchange data, balance of payments and international trade data, and using IMF, OECD, EUROSTAT, and ONS databases. I have also worked with lecturers and professors from other academic institutions on collecting high frequency money market data to analyse political risk in government bond yields.
