My passion is to turn people's fantasies into realities by curating unforgettable experiences. I realized my passion for event coordinating began at a young age when I would help my mom plan our holiday parties. We would spend weeks before the event in every store imaginable looking for the perfect collage of decorations and table sets. I remember the endless hours we would spend calling rental places, food caterers, and venues checking prices and availability. However, my favorite part was after the chaos while we broke down the party. In those moments we would look at each other and knew - without saying - that we had successfully executed an unforgettable moment. I was hooked on that feeling. I knew then that I wanted to create monumental memories for others forever. That passion carried me through my time in college at CSUF. Fullerton University gave me the tools to further expand my knowledge for event planning. I meticulously studied public speaking, marketing, public relations, intercultural communication, media/entertainment, and even business. There were endless courses to help me grow and my hunger to master them is what drove me to completion. That knowledge lead me to help coordinate and plan music events on top of the occasional holiday party. I began to help book DJ's for events, coordinate locations, promote through social media, and network with other event coordinators to bring our audience a monumental experience. I furthered my skills as well by working as a waitress part time. I learned how to communicate clearly and effectively as well as juggle multiple tasks at once. I also gained the ability to predict a person's needs before they would ask. These experiences have lead to crucial communication skills I often use in my everyday life. The passion and knowledge I have gained through these experiences continue to help me master skills that are fundamental to my career.
