Once I left college I was not sure what I wanted to go into, I then began studying Health and Social Care at Newman University and though this I worked in Cambodia for 3 weeks delivering basic health care and public health to the local community. I then discovered that I wanted to go into Learning Disability Nursing and then developed a passion around forensic learning disability nursing and then worked in a learning disability hospital which supported ladies with learning disabilities and or Autism with behaviours that challenged and stayed there once I qualified. I loved working here supporting the ladies and developed personally and professionally as LD nurse. After 2 and half years i wanted to go into education and teaching future nurses and now i am a University Lecturer at University of Wolverhampton
