During my tenure at NBCU, and my 8+ years as President of NBCU Cable & New Media Distribution, I pioneered various strategic content monetization deals on both traditional linear and new media platforms.From spearheading the first-ever major studio deal with Netflix in 2006 to 2014’s multi-year licensing agreement with Hulu Plus including series such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine & Parks and Recreation, to 2020’s domestic streaming rights auction for The Office, I have spent my career innovating content windowing and monetization strategy in a rapidly changing landscape and successfully maximizing content values.Over the course of my career I have overseen the off-net sales of shows such as 30 Rock, The Office, House, & Law & Order and forged groundbreaking deals including the strategic partnership between NBCUniversal & American Airlines, the first-run sale of NBC series Friday Night Lights to DirectTV, and Universal Pictures deals with HBO which keep Universal’s top box office titles headed to HBO through 2021.As President of Content Acquisitions and Strategy at Peacock, I oversaw the curation and acquisition of a 15,000+ hour film & television series offering designed to serve identified audience segments and ready for launch. To that end, the content acquisitions team secured important film and television acquisitions including: a Dick Wolf deal for all Law & Order and Chicago franchises; an A&E Networks deal which brought major unscripted content such as First 48, Cold Case Files, and Storage Wars to Peacock; a film & TV content deal with ViacomCBS which included key films such as the newly re-released Godfather Trilogy and series such as Ray Donovan, Undercover Boss, and Everybody Hates Chris; and an original animation project with 41 Entertainment for a rare tweens animated series. In addition, I managed the curation and acquisition of a Black Voices content offering from black creators and actors, addressing our diverse content goals, which included the original series Noughts & Crosses, original documentaries such as A Most Beautiful Thing, The Sit In, Black Boys, and Freedia Got a Gun as well as feature film Anthony.Previously at NBCU I served as Executive Vice President & General Sales Manager, Cable & Non-theatrical Sales, NBCU Domestic Television Distribution. I was promoted to that role after serving as the Senior Vice President, Cable Sales, NBCU Domestic Television Distribution. Before NBC merged with Universal in May 2004, I served as SVP, Cable Sales, NBC Enterprises.
