I have been a freelance consultant since 2010 and have developed a particular expertise in Interim CEO roles in the charity sector. Most recently I was Interim CEO at Just for Kids Law having previously been Interim CEO role at Bounce Back, a charity supporting ex-offenders into training and employment in the construction industry. Prior to that I was a Senior Adviser in the Rough Sleeping Initiative at the MHCLG working with local authorities and their partners to tackle Rough Sleeping. I have also been Interim CEO at Safer London, vInspired and Foundation66. I was Interim Areas Director at the Troubled Families Team at DCLG (Department of Communities and Local Government ) in 2012 and also worked with a range of partners including Safer London to develop and implement a pan London gang exit programme, Safe and Secure. From 2008 to 2010 I was CEO of Off the Streets and into Work, a small but highly effective homeless charity and led the successful merger with Crisis. Before that I was Head of Social Inclusion and Health at the GLA leading on a range of Mayoral strategies tackling child poverty and health inequalities and promoting refugee integration. I worked at Westminster Council for over 20 years, starting as a rent officer and was Chief Housing Officer from 2001 till 2004.I am also proud to have been an active Trustee at the House of St Barnabas where I led on supporting and developing the Employment Academy. I was also a Trustee at Look Ahead Housing and Care and a founder Trustee at Vital Regeneration.
