Responsible for managing the political interface of the Local Government Association - a membership body with over 400 members - to deliver effective governance, policy development and lobbying outcomes that represent members’ interests and enable the organisation to speak with a united, strong and credible voice. I managed the LGA’s Member Services team of 7 people, which supported the LGA's political governance structures, processed members allowances and expenses and a number of other member related activities. Included responsibility of a budget on circa £1 million.
