This involved:- Coordinating and negotiating with the key parties delivering the West Gate Tunnel Project including input into defined technical aspects of the Interface Agreement- Leading the assessment of constructability of the interface and associated works- Managing reviews and coordinating the update of the Principal's Preliminary Design- Engaging with stakeholders to achieve the optimum functional design- Leading the review of the West Gate Tunnel design at the M80 interface - Leading the technical review of the tender submissions- Providing general technical advice to the Project.Swan Street Bridge Upgrade (October 2016 - present)I led the civil engineering on this high profile project from tender through to construction. I am responsible for the realignment and widening of Alexandra Avenue, the widening of Olympic Boulevard and modification of two intersections. My role included:- Working closely with the client, contractor and many stakeholders to satisfy their requirements within a challenging site- Negotiating design exceptions and delivering within the Extended Design Domain- Adapting the design to meet evolving design requirements- Providing construction phase support, responding to technical queries and modifying the design around undocumented existing services and buried materialBeach Street Upgrade (May 2016 - September 2017)I managed and delivered the design of civil upgrades to Beach Street for the improved performance of local intersections under congestion from Station Pier. My responsibilities included:- Production of functional design options to support the City of Port Phillip Business Case- Liaising with CoPP to develop the civil design from concept to construction issue- Construction support to CoPP
