Chief Executive Officer of managing an amazing beach community

Functions as the City Manager's assistant in such managerial, administrative, and administrative support capacities as the Manager deems necessary, as well as serves in the capacity of a department director over assigned administrative/operational area. Assignments vary in scope and content depending upon the changing needs of the City Manager. Conducts or directs major projects or programs involving issues of considerable importance to the City and such supervision may be continuous or intermittent. In the Manager's absence perform duties and exercise authority typically identified with the position of City Manager. Acts as liaison or staff person on City or community committees and/or groups.

Plan, organize and direct all phases of the City’s Human Resources Program including employee and labor relations, recruitment and selection, classification and salary administration, employee development and succession planning, benefits and retirement plans, workforce diversity and employment records management.
