Frances served on the board of Reverse Mortgage Investment Trust Inc. (RMIT) from April 2015 through December 2020, when the company was sold to a private equity investment group. Member of the Audit and Risk Committees and a Special Committee. RMIT is a $200M fully integrated reverse mortgage banking operation through its subsidiary Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC, portfolio management and mortgage servicing rights platform.

Frances served as a member of the board of CYS Investments, Inc. (NYSE: CYS), a publicly traded Mortgage REIT and was audit committee chair from the initial capitalization in February 2006 through September 2009. From August 2009 through May 2016, Frances was CFO and treasurer of CYS. Frances became CFO after the company’s Initial Public Offering in June 2009 and was engaged in numerous capital raises growing the company to a market capitalization of $2.5 billion at its peak.
