As Project Manager, I manage a team of volunteers. This requires induction and training of each volunteer and providing a role which matches their skills and orientation. Some volunteers referred from partner agencies require mentoring by project workers until ready to become part of the wider team. Destiny Angels provides new life opportunities through volunteering and mentoring.Part of managing the project is providing a volunteer staffed food bank drop in Monday - Friday weekly, providing information, practical, emotional and spiritual support to clients in poverty and crisis in Glasgow. Fundraising, promotion of the charity's impact on the community and resourcing food, finance, equipment, materials and services for the charity is vital to the continuation and expansion of the services provided.
