Hello! I am Frances (or Ann), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).I graduated Cum Laude from Ateneo de Naga University in March 2016, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.I previously worked as an Advisory Associate at Sycip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. (a member firm of Ernst & Young International), focusing on IT Risk and Assurance. Engagements handled include Financial Audit - IT Integration, Business Process Reviews, and Third Party Risk Management, among others. Industry exposures include retail, manufacturing, banking, healthcare, etc.I also worked as an Internal Auditor for Bloomberry Resorts & Hotels, Inc., owner and operator of Solaire Resort & Casino. My primary role was to assist the Internal Audit Management in the completion of the annual audit plan by performing engagement planning, execution and reporting in accordance with The Institute of Internal Auditor's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Other administrative tasks include:1. TeamMate (audit management system) Administrator - coordination of system upgrade and maintenance activities, user access management, audit project scheduling and creation and other TeamMate admin functions; and,2. Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) Assistant Team Lead - periodic internal assessments and ongoing monitoring of all Internal Audit activities to ensure they comply with The IIA's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.In Q4 of 2022, I was recognized as a 'Solaire's Inspiring Key Achieving Team Member' (SIKAT) awardee, which recognizes employees that go above and beyond their call of duties. At present, I am working as a Senior Internal Auditor for GoPro Philippines Ltd., handling/assisting in all aspects of of Internal Audit activities, including SOX compliance program (both financial reporting and IT), Internal Audit projects (operational and compliance reviews), and Enterprise Risk Management activities.
