Working with a variety of clients to provide marketing support for either a one-off project or on a longer term basis. This ranges from social media, copy-writing, content creation/blogs, internal and external communications through to event management, website management, planning and strategy. I am a people person who builds relationships easily and has liaised with clients and customers at all levels across many projects with over 20 years marketing experience.

Working as part of the team to reignite networking for Milton Keynes and launch GoTo Network into Bedford and Northampton; and assisting with the UK Development Plan. Creation of the monthly newsletter, website work and social media support to help members promote their businesses and events.

Working with a range of clients from several different industries, who are looking for additional marketing support either project by project, or on an ongoing basis.

This role involved responsibility for the promotion of the School's Holiday Activity Courses including the advertising and all promotional materials. Organisation of the annual school Open Day and Action Days along with feeder school events. Overseeing of marketing projects, research and analysis. Proofing of school marketing materials including the School Prospectus and publications. Regular updating of the School website and sending of electronic communications. Attendance at internal and external recruitment events throughout the year.

Responsible for the formulation of the School's Marketing Programme and for implementing the marketing activities in line with the School's policies and School Development Plan. This involved working closely with the Headmaster, Registrar and all other staff to ensure that the values of the Bedford Modern School brand were communicated effectively to target market segments. The role included developing the School's Marketing Plan, conducting and commissioning market research, overseeing the Marketing Budget and writing regular management reports to the Bursar, Headmaster and Governors. Other areas included responsibility for all promotional material including the School Prospectus and other publications, Advertising and Press Relations, development of a new website and virtual tour for the School, promotion of the Holiday Activity Courses and organisation and attendance at all internal and external student recruitment events including the annual School Open Day.

Responsible for the production of all promotional material including content and print management and overall project management. Managing and co-ordinating internal and external promotional events including launches (at the House of Commons), open days, workshops, seminars and exhibitions. Liaising with external and internal design and printing services, assisting with the development and implementation of the strategic plan, assisting with the development and maintenance of the Institute website and developing and maintaining a database management system. Also maintaining all departmental budget records.

Responsibility for organisation of product launches, exhibitions and lectures. Managing the provision of all promotional materials/budgets. Conducting financial, marketing and business analyses. Liaison with campus groups over information for public relations and school-wide PR/publicity matters. Contributing to management of the website and ensuring it is current and up-to-date and arranging all training for all staff and maintaining the training budget.

Responsible for designing and mailing direct mail campaigns for company products. Organisation of training seminars run throughout the country. Booking, organisation and attendance at monthly exhibitions. Writing editorial and press releases for journals and regular liaison with advertising companies and Journal Editors. Logging and analysis of advertising leads to produce monthly sales meeting reports. Booking out demonstration equipment for sales staff and for exhibitions. General office administration including completing directory entries.
